Who can see what I put in my vault?

Accepted Answer

Only the people you explicitly invite. There are no public profiles, no search engine indexing of vault content, and no advertising. Your vault is private by default.

Who owns my memories?

You do. Always. Dear Tomorrow Project is a custodian, not an owner. You can export your entire vault — text, photos, and audio — at any time.

Can multiple family members contribute?

Yes. Family Vault includes up to 5 contributors and Family Vault Legacy includes unlimited contributors. You can also invite viewers who can read but not edit.

What happens to my vault if I cancel?

You keep access through the end of your billing period. You can export everything at any time — before, during, or after cancellation. Your memories are never held hostage.

What memory types are supported?

Six: Stories (written), Voices (audio), Recipes, Traditions, Photos, and Life Lessons. Each memory belongs to a specific person in your family tree.

What about when I'm gone?

You can designate who inherits the vault. They keep full access to everything you've gathered — so your grandchildren can still hear your voice and read your hand.

Dear Tomorrow Project is a web application that works on phones, tablets, and computers. You can add to your vault from anywhere with a browser.

How do you protect my data?

Your vault is stored on secure, encrypted infrastructure. Access requires authentication, and only invited family members can view contents. We never sell or share your data.
