1. Agreement to terms
By creating an account or otherwise using Dear Tomorrow Project (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. You are responsible for the conduct and content of family members you invite.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@deartomorrowproject.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to the memories, photographs, audio, recipes, and other content you upload to your vault ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you and your invited family members. We will not sell, license, or use Your Content for advertising or model training.
5. Family members & invitations
When you invite a family member, you authorize us to share vault content with them at the access level you assign (viewer or contributor). You are responsible for who you invite and what they can access.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is illegal, harassing, infringing, or violates another person's privacy or rights.
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent the Service's security.
- Use the Service to store content unrelated to family memory-keeping (e.g., commercial archives, public-facing media).
7. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel any time from your account settings; you retain access through the end of the paid period. We may change prices with 30 days' notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.
8. Refunds
If something isn't right, email us within 14 days of payment and we'll make it right. Beyond that, paid fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
9. Cancellation & deletion
You can cancel and delete your account at any time. After deletion, we remove Your Content within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention. Export your vault before deletion if you want a copy.
10. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dear Tomorrow Project and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content beyond the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dear Tomorrow Project from claims arising out of Your Content or your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. You may terminate your account at any time.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify account holders by email and post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dear Tomorrow Project is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
